YUIMOM Goes Global

Established on 25 May 1997, the YUIMOM Group has its roots in the construction business. The founder of the Group, Shao Yung-Tien, holds true to the pursuit of perfection and excellence, basing the company’s philosophy on his belief - ‘not seeking to be the biggest, only the best’.
In 2017 he teamed up with the Silks Hotel Group to launch Silks Club Kaohsiung, and with Japan’s UKAI restaurant and Dassai brewery to bring Michelin-starred dining service to Taiwanese people. The Group operates various businesses including construction, commercial leasing, boutique hotels, top catering services, and contemporary art museum management.
Brands under YUIMOM have won numerous international awards. Having successfully diversified and established itself in Taiwan, the Group is now ready to move onto the international stage.

Brand history

•2009 The Royal Garden won two international awards: the FIABCI World Prix d’Excellence Gold Winner Awards and the American Illumination Awards of Merit IES.
•2011 The YUIMOM Jiang Guo Building received Intelligent Building Recognition
•2017 Silks Club opened, increasing Kaohsiung’s exposure to the world.
•2017 The first overseas branch of Japan’s Michelin restaurant Ukai-Tei and Dassai officially opened at Silks Club.
•2018 Silks Club scooped six top awards at home and abroad for its innovative technology and impeccable hospitality.
•2018 An original military building was transformed into a contemporary art museum. The building that now houses the Alien Art Centre was restored to its former glory utilising the Group’s construction technology without the need for it to be demolished and rebuilt. Through the medium of art, fashion, architecture, landscape, food and space, the memory and beauty of the land continues.
•2019 Teams up with Ukai-Tei to launch at Breeze Nanshan in Taipei, offering the ultimate dining experience.
